So...ive been playing PR since .3 and ive never really given armor a shot. Recently ive started jumping in armor alot more and it is the most fun ive ever had in PR.

A well coordinated tank crew can turn the tide of a battle. Thanks again PR team for a great gaming experiance.
BTW my in-game name is Macleod01...i just have a different forum name for some reason. Woot Rock on and keep using tanks!!

Tanks pack a punch but they're pretty easy to spot compared to infantry so attract much more unwanted attention.

Tanks game-play are fantastic in PR. First I thought the RO tank battles were the best, but after playing Kashan for the first time with 64 players, I don't need to say anything more.
Thanks again PR team!

I enjoy beeing the driver more than the gunner, actully. The best tanking experience I've had in PR was on Al-Kufrah, as the driver in a T-90. I was in a pretty well coordinated tank squad that stayed togheter most of the time. Me and my gunner killed at least 9 Abrams, and we stayed alive the whole round to! Fantastic!
Except good communication between the driver and gunner, it's really important that tanks stick togheter for maximum efficiency and fire power.

obiusly you didnt play the last version of RO , they have a map with 2 km view distance , the tank battle there are awesome , you need to calculate your shoot , fit your sigh to hit something ,etc, its really inmersive .

then just dont move, but 2km shots would still be great it would take alot of skill. also turret stabilisation would help but at 2000m the tank would have to stop moving if you wanted to hit the target.

Guys, you should remember the engine that PR is running on. If they (devs) could work with a proper engine from the begining, I'm sure they would do better things like 2km view distance and other stuffs. IMO, it is fantastic how it is.
