I only use them to fire on enemy positions, probably scaring them abit and it gives them a lower visibility.

Marking my position when my squad got pwned and I'm the sole survivor and I need helicopter evac to regroup.

To shoot NickO.

I think it's fine the way it is. It gets the job done. I too only really fire at enemy positions to reduce their LOS and allow the squad to move.

Sometimes it's thick enough to use. Normally I use it to smoke a window or something where an enemy "might" be lurking.

Yeah just fire more than one. I use those things pretty often on Mestia to get close enough to a bunker to get a nade in there

ya shot it at them and they duck. make sure they see u though becasue otherwise nothing besides smoke. After it pops run. I like it. Its not like going rambo in smoke after u pop it with a nade laucher.

I may be incorrect, but i have a feeling that the M203 smoke does not render at as long ranges as M8s. Many times have i yelled 'H4X!1!' at my monitor, when i get sniped through UGL smoke.

And yes, it is in need of a boost, unless IRL its noticeably inferior.

um..not sure what the OP meant.

isn't the smoke nade the same model? idk.

but i do know that the smoke nades thickness varies in different parts, its not like a css nade which is like a solid 2d wall with some textures on it.

The spin-stabilized smoke grenades are not preferred for screening maneuvers since they do not have the payload capacity of the larger smoke hand grenades (for example, the standard smoke grenades used in the M203 carry 75 grams of smoke mixture; the M8 holds 595). They are primarily used for marking your position or that of your enemy.
