Insurgent Tractor and Semi Trailer

My original idea was simply the insurgents would get an 18 Wheeler loaded with explosives. Being it would be a fair tad more difficult to drive and maneuver, have some rudimentary armour on it, scrap metal where the windows are, and maybe a little bit of protection around the engine block. Mad max comes to mind.

The purpose of all this would be to make a very large explosion such as this.

But then I expanded upon the idea, thinking why would they waste all of that in a single blow, unless it was to blow up something large, so I put a purpose to it. Make it a resupply truck of sorts. Have it so the trailer is open and able to be hopped in to, and have some of the weapons such as rpg and pkm (or was it the rpk?) on board. Might also make it a mobile spawn, but thats not really needed with the other spawn cars in my opinion. The Truck will be drivable only by the Squad Leader(s). Once the vehicle is destroyed, it should still make the fantastic explosion like above in the video, but once it is gone, it will no longer respawn.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

i like it. But make it a Car tahjt both sides can get in. So like the US or Brits can se them for ammo or something.

A cube van, or lorrywould work in the BF2 engine.

Welcome to the foruns, Rubic.

Unfortunately, articulated vehicles like tractor-trailers are not possible with the BF2 engine.

^ Darn EA ruins the mod Again. But hey stioll you could make dump trucks and that stuff all it needs is a sound and controls. And in my mind we need diferent looking cars. The 1's now are getting boring.

Soucy, go model one yourself.

Making a new car is a lot of effort just because you think it's 'boring'. The DEVs are busy enough. I think for larger explosions we have the Jihad truck?

A Tractor would be slow (if you mean a John Deere type tractor),but a semi with trailer,would be cool and maybe even something like this,because it's quicker.

again another AWESOME idea foiled by that damn bf2 engine... maybe you could make it so you get in it like a normal vehicle, so you can get in it by pressing E but it would also be possible to just jump into it like you can jump into the back of the jeeps, but the container would be harder to fall out of? would this work?

Naw I ment the truck, they are technically called a tractor.(comes from a truck driving family)

There's always these, but you can't get inside them. Though in some mods, I think, Airmaps mod, you can get inside them. This vehicle is in the Kashan Desert Training map.
