Limited/Timed Airborne Ranger Kits

Airborne Assault Map (only map with that contains aiborne kits)
Map only contains Transport Helicopters (no gunships etc)

Airborne Kits are special kits that spawn once every 15 minutes at base (inside hanger on a table)

Airborne Kits contain Parachute, Signal Smoke, Grenades, Extra Ammo, Binoculars, and C4.

Squad Leaders cannot deploy rally points using Airborne Kit. So choice must be made between parachute or officer kit.

Kits are spawned on table in sets of 5. This allows 1 pilot and 5 airborne units to be on same communication channel.

Kits can be prevented either by destroying an object a commander builds (radar object etc) or by capping airbase flag.

So, sides will fight over airbase flags to prevent otherside from using airborne units or they will have to hunt down the object the commander builds somewhere on the map (radar object etc) to prevent airborne assaults.

I dont like this idea at all to be honest, Rallypoint's is the whole point of teamwork which is what PR is seeking for the more teamwork the better gameplay. What you are suggesting sounds like a giant frag fest just like vanilla and i guarantie you that thats not what PR is looking for..

parachute kit's has been disgussed a numerous times before, please use the search fuction/or and the already suggestion's thread also wanna Welcome you to the forums =) its great to see new active members

Olsson, I think your misunderstanding him, Tikigod said that squad leaders will have to choose between being able to make a rally point and having a parachute. I would Argue that this actually makes teamwork more of a nessecity because people from your squad would have to parachute in and clear a landing zone for the helicopter so the squad leader could hop off the Helicoper and set the rally with his squad.

I think this is a good idea but it would be hard to make a map that would play well and not develope into a massive fragfest like Olsson said. I think this is worth a try but I think that only one team would have to parachute, not both at the same time. That just seems a little unrealistic.

I find it pretty similar ? this is gonna lead to nonteamwork im pretty sure, a squad leader request's/picksup this kit and what happens? non team work, would be like a SpecOps kit.. I dont like the idea of that... its just another Parachute thread mate and could probaly of been suggested in an existing one dont you think?

I'm sorry, but parachutes have been suggested multiple times before, and they have always been shot down for the same reason: they're not realistic.

Please, before you start a new suggestion, take a moment to check whether it hasn't been suggested before.
