first suggestion:
Could the BF2 engine handle ships? not like an air craft carrier but something like a battleship or a helicopter carrying cruiser
second suggestion:
could you make a game mode or a map with ships and the royal marines. The lynx could have torpedo tubes and could be tasked with destroying each shipe to win or just part of the map.
I know this is kinda grammatically incorrect but i just wanted to throw out the suggestion
ships

Large ships are difficult to do, because nobody can stand on the deck as the ship is moving without shaking like mad. Also it is laggy. Modern naval combat is a very different beast from WWII. Engagements would take place with missiles. Battleships don't even exist anymore.
Wont happen. Wrong forum for suggestions too.

If battleships don't exist, then why does the U.S. Navy still have the U.S.S Iowa in the mothball fleet and the other three on display? I count that as existence even though they aren't in service.
Anyway, yes, today's naval warfare is completely different from that of the World War II engagements.
The only problem:
No one has yet to step up to the challenge of taking on the task of making a suitable destroyer static for PR. As for me, I'm trying to work out modeling for BF2 so this can be done.
