Not too sure if this was discussed before, but the idea of spawn protection needs to be addressed.
I think it would an asset to PRMM to have this. This would prevent people spawn-r*ping and give players the chance to get out of the way, if need be.
I think a 3 second spawn invincibility would suffice.

I think the problem is the actual fact that EA stuck spawn points in the lamest spots on maps. They should be inside buildings and not in a direct line of attack to a control point. Spawn raping is unfortunate but it is a fact of this game. If a tank is supplying cover fire or suppression while the troops are moving on the flag than I think it is a valid tactic. If a person is proned out and waiting to kill people spawning than that of course is a really childish tactic and should be addressed. I hope that all players would show respect and not do what they would probably not want to be on the receiving end of.

I came across a server side script that punishes players for base raping. I believe it only applies to control points that cannot be captured.
IMO base raping of a captureable control point is simply part of the game. When it's non captureable then it's in poor taste.
