So, TG was terrible today. I blame part of that on me and my teams total suckage and lack of ability to overcome fuzzhead, irontaxi, and outlawz being on the opfor, but I blame MOST of my anger and despair on the fact that every round, someone wwas making a Spec-Ops squad that would always be way behind enemy lines, 6 people, and not help at ALL in the AAS capture order. They werent even at enemy vehicle spawns or anything. They were just way out at distant (uncappable)CP's with their m4's (and probably the rest of the requestables) up their butts waiting for a 1337 kill and a tank to slam.

Grrr. I was so mad. I think I am now really glad to see the SpecOps removed from the class list and going into requestable. Come on... I draw the line at not doing much for the team when it's a full squad, behind enemy lines, when we are constantly getting pushed back. We could have used the additional 6 guys for.. oh say... the war effort?

Anyone else have ridiculous stories like this? :) Im looking for a reason to really post this, but come on, a guys gotta vent somewhere right? And I couldnt vent w/ my m16 that shoots bb's could I? ;)

Looking to play some tonight, I'll be on TG or battlearena, I hope it goes better, because earlier sucked my grandmas *insert raunchy expletive*

is this PR discussion or is it better in tales fro the front lines? its not a battle story, so I'm leaning towards PR discussion.

YA i have but mostly I do it on maps like Oman or Basrah whe nits needed and You dont take Specail kits, only no regusestible nad only 4-5 guys unless clan mates.

Thats why i think SpecOps should just get a smg or even only a pistol (both maybe silenced) instead of an M4 plus Pistol... The class would then be useless in combat and the players would focus on doing their jobs as special forces, and (eg.) destroy assets.

The limiting in 0.7 will be great too. I dont think Special Forces are more common on the front than SAW-gunners irl, so limiting them makes sense.

The best thing that could happen to the class would be map- and gamemode-depending equipment. Like slams in insurgency against the caches, C4 on a map with bridges etc etc.

Just my thoughts about it.

Was also total annihilation on Op Phoenix after Jabal, despite the fact, that db and fuzz went in their own little squad and didn't let anyone in :p
