All to often Ill be swooping around in a chopper or jet and I'll get shot at, if its a bad hit the rudder will go and the thing will vibrate, if its real bad then I'll just explode in mid air.
Is it possible to fiddle with the damage to make it so that for example when were being pounding by AA instead of just instantly exploding in the air and watching the chopper fall out of the sky we would feel the rotors failing, lose all control, OH TEH NOES!!111 *red lights flashing warning sounds* as more apc hits are landed on the chopper as it falls out of the sky you can hear the explosions tearing through then BANG! ground... and then you get your spectator cam spizzling around your crashed wreckage.
I guess I'm just saying that I think airbourne vehicles should become critcally damaged and therefore unairworthy far sooner than before they explode in the middle of the sky.
hopefully well see more pilots bailing out and needing rescue as theyre wounded behind enemy lines...
adding a ticket cost to the killing of a pilot by the enemy would also add incentive for the team to save their pilots behind enemy lines
