Is there an organized tournament being arranged for PR. I would love to join.
Just think of it. Playing PR with divisions, ranks, and total organization. AWSOME. Maybe someone from here could organize it. I know it takes alot of work. And I wish more people played. Maybe someday.
Is there a PR Tournament?

Hi and welcome to the forums and the mod!
We also believe that a league will be beneficial to Project Reality. We are currently in the very early stages of developing this idea so that when our player base expands with subsequent releases, we'll have everything ready to go.

We are putting together a league in the works, if you could describe a tournament maybe we could put it together, but given playerbase this is good for now. We are willing to evolve once we get things moving. The idea is to play in realistic way using chain of command and cohesive squad movement.

No I do not want to die playing a game (unrealism fans have been using this against me for years)

I WAS talking about something like BF2C, which I have done 1 tour with. But this sounds good too. I can't quite tell how the "matches" are organized each week by reading those posts, though.
BF2C works like a "Risk" style system. You have your "World Globe". Each map you play will represent a territory in the middle east and far east. Each week, the previous winning team chooses which territory to "attack". If it is neutral(noone owns it yet) then the winning team gets it. If MEC owns it and US wins, then US gets it. You could either have it stop after a certain amount of matches, (most territories wins) or just go until all territories are captured. The former is probrably a better idea.
I would be interested in joining your league, but do not wish to be in a "higher up" position. I just want to play with little responsibilities. Just practice and fight. Maybe military advisor. I spent 4 yrs in a USMC infantry unit. There, I was a fireteam leader, then a gunner for a mortar team. (I was also a marksmanship coach)

I'm not quite sure how the ladder system works. but if you have organized play with a rank structure, and designated jobs, I'm in.

You could PM it to me. I'll see whether it's ok to post or not. And I'd probably have a good laugh about it myself.F.N.G. wrote:Thanks Wolf. I have a sig pic of a baby "flipping the bird", but I'm not sure if I can post it or not.
Well, we don't exactly have it yet but it's under construction. Rank structure and designated jobs are definetely what we aim for.F.N.G. wrote: I'm not quite sure how the ladder system works. but if you have organized play with a rank structure, and designated jobs, I'm in.
