kits not being available???

i was playing on al basrah as UK, and was about a yard away from flag in a squad of 6.
i wasn't squad leader, but when i went to get a kit, the only option i had was to request an officer kit, which i obviously couldn't do, or build something, and as i wasn't commander i couldn't do either.

as a result i went 3 rounds without my trusty minimi hehe.

suggestions or help would be kindly accepted

UPDATE: ahh now i played a bit tonite with UK, and kits worked fine, it was only on al basrah i think i had the problem, ill play some more later and find out, cheers.
