JDAM and civillians
Sorry if this has been asked
What kind of score penalties if any will be applied to civillians dying in an JDAM air strike?

It's probably bound to the player like rally points.kckid2599 wrote:Another JDAM question (sorry if it's been asked and/or it's stupid):
What happens if a Insurgent gets a hold of your SOFLAM?
And maybe a better question:
If I hear one coming, should I bother to run?
And about running...... from the looks of the video, probably not. Might get under a non-destructible or in a hole and you might live.

well you would only be able to use the jdam to destroy 1 or 2 caches per round due to the long reload time. So it wouldn't make it too easy since you would still have to manually find most of the caches.Safekeeper wrote: I picture sitting in the checkpoint, watching JDAMS go off in the city, thinking 'aaah, there go those weapon caches'.
Would make things a bit too easy, no?

You can try to run, it's better than sit and waitkckid2599 wrote:If I hear one coming, should I bother to run?
About JDAM:
I'm affraid that JDAM may be used to camp main bases. One big boom and all the tanks in the base are gone for 20 minutes.
RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!!!
Do not post stupid suggestions just because you had a bad round in PR

Yee jdams shouldn't be available in insurgent mode, considering that it wont be realistic, like it wont in real life.
You dont just bomb a civil area with innocents living and hiding in the houses.
That would be unpropiate
And what to do when you hear that jdam comming, fall on your knee and accept it!

But don't forget JDAM's can't cap flags, staying there those extra seconds might be enough to cap it. I can envisage some heroic last stands.kckid2599 wrote:According to my calculations, you have 38 seconds to get the hell out of there when you hear one coming.
Sounds like a challenge.![]()

Did you actually look at the video which the PR JDAM vid is a copy of? They think there is an insurgent in the house so they blow it the hell up. There could well have been civilians in there.Grand_maneuver wrote:Yee jdams shouldn't be available in insurgent mode, considering that it wont be realistic, like it wont in real life.

Yes i've seen the video, but then again, you cant play insurgent on kashan desert, ergo there are no civilians.H3eadshot wrote:Did you actually look at the video which the PR JDAM vid is a copy of? Since there are opinions you can consider:
there were living civilians in the city but all have flet because of the battle going on nearby which they knew would follow to their area of living.
or since it aint insurgent map there are no civilian class, ergo no civilians to think of.
