Sorry if this has been asked

What kind of score penalties if any will be applied to civillians dying in an JDAM air strike?

CNN spawns in your room and kicks you in the nuts.

Another JDAM question (sorry if it's been asked and/or it's stupid):
What happens if a Insurgent gets a hold of your SOFLAM?

And maybe a better question:
If I hear one coming, should I bother to run?

It's probably bound to the player like rally points.

And about running...... from the looks of the video, probably not. Might get under a non-destructible or in a hole and you might live.

As long as the reporter is an attractive blonde it might be worth it.

The JDAM is not on all maps. It wont be in Al Basrah.

Getting the soflam doesn't mean you can use the JDAM as it wont be available for insurgents for obvious reasons.

Duck and cover and you'll be just fine.

I picture sitting in the checkpoint, watching JDAMS go off in the city, thinking 'aaah, there go those weapon caches'.

Would make things a bit too easy, no ;) ?

well you would only be able to use the jdam to destroy 1 or 2 caches per round due to the long reload time. So it wouldn't make it too easy since you would still have to manually find most of the caches.

You can try to run, it's better than sit and wait ;)

About JDAM:
I'm affraid that JDAM may be used to camp main bases. One big boom and all the tanks in the base are gone for 20 minutes.

^Ya, They should add a limit to where it can be fired. or just give the commanders a ed button that blows up all incoming missles.

Yee jdams shouldn't be available in insurgent mode, considering that it wont be realistic, like it wont in real life.

You dont just bomb a civil area with innocents living and hiding in the houses.
That would be unpropiate :)

And what to do when you hear that jdam comming, fall on your knee and accept it!

or just lower teh vehicle spawn times. tho yeah it would be a problem if ppl used it on main bases to take out the vehciles

According to my calculations, you have 38 seconds to get the hell out of there when you hear one coming.

Sounds like a challenge. :D

But don't forget JDAM's can't cap flags, staying there those extra seconds might be enough to cap it. I can envisage some heroic last stands.

All we need now is mortars.

Did you actually look at the video which the PR JDAM vid is a copy of? They think there is an insurgent in the house so they blow it the hell up. There could well have been civilians in there.

I know why it wont be available on Basra. They way the Brits usually play on that map, 2cents says they will JDAM themselves at vcp

Yes i've seen the video, but then again, you cant play insurgent on kashan desert, ergo there are no civilians.
Since there are opinions you can consider:

there were living civilians in the city but all have flet because of the battle going on nearby which they knew would follow to their area of living.

or since it aint insurgent map there are no civilian class, ergo no civilians to think of.

By the time a JDAM will be available for use there should not be any significant amount of equipment in a home base. This will make the use against an area that will be attacked much more likely.

Also the JDAM is only available on some maps. Definitly not on Al Basrah.
