Complete Collition Forces - Adding Australian Defence Force

I know this would be i big thing to do but anyway...

I have all ways thort that playing PR as Australian Forces would be GREAT!!! To add the ADF would complete the main coalition forces of todays armed forces... I think the best idea would be to get into contact with the Australian Forces MOD for bf2 for models... I dont know its just an idea thort i would put it forward see what you guys think. :D

HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth

I'd love to see this(I'm slightly biased but hey). We have Yanks, Canadians and Poms (no offense intended) so why not Aussies?

Great idea.

The Aussies could have cricket bats instead of rifles and barb-e-q tools for sidearms with rugby balls as hand grenades.Crates of warm frothy lager could drop from the sky on request.Main transport could be camels.

And when they win a round it could play some nice Rolf Harris muzak. :mrgreen:

I thought ur whole idea was in the comunity forums or something where thye also where going to contact the aussie forces mod team,dunno if they did tough.
But if u rly want the adf in PR,try to contact the aussie forces team urself

@OP: Make a community mod, find people who do a community mod for you or... it wont happen. The devs will not add more armies after the US-A afaik.

few problems with adding a new faction.

1. size of the mod, its near 2 gigs (i would think .7 is 2 gig)

2. if they add this faction ALOT more people would be wanting to add there faction, just impossible to add everybodys nation

3. troop numbers

4. why add more factions when you can refine the ones we currently have?

5. the work it would consist adding a new faction when you can change current models and gameplay aspects.

im not sure you did either your suggestion was not in compliance with the rules.

to the topic at hand id love to see australian forces. Why dont you start a community project.

why do ppl moan about the size, ok it's 2 gb let it download over night. if its 4gb it'l probably be done over night too.

That size complaining is a bit off these days. You know, we're not living in the age of 56k dial-up connections anymore.
Well, I quite like the idea (more factions - more fun :-P ), but as the others said - don't expect the Devs to take care of it.

well, ask simply the australian forces crew, there is only 1-2 man left working on it, and their stuff is really high quallity

this proves my point aswell, if we start adding factions where do we stop??? people will always get annoyed that there faction isnt in .
