at first, many thanks to th BF2 developer team, gj!
now after 2 days playing the new version 0.7 i had to register in this forum to tell u that theres a new problem with the battle trend. the problem is, that the squads need information about enemy movements to decide if they have to defend or attack. my hole squad had to run.. 40min ? from flag to flag without enemy contact and no spawn chances nearby. we were not able to recap the flags because the enemy alredy made the next flag neutral - we lost the battle because all the flags were in enemy control before the defenders arrived. there was no real fight, just capturing (and the server was full with 64 people). and this realy sucks a lot when u want to fight.
there are so much defending positions on fools road, but there are no defenders using them XD because no one knows where the enemy could be. and there is no easy way to tell all ur teammates (or even ur squad) where they are attacking (only with the team chat, and thats to slow).
perhaps u just need to increase the capturing time again, because the troops cant move so fast as the battle moves on.
2 main problems:
- too fast battlemovement
- no working informationsystem for the team (perhaps because only sl can spot on the map)
thx
(sry for my bad english, hop u got the right idea of what im trying to explain)

Yeah, pub commander is definitely moving up as one of the MOST important positions. SL\'s need to have mic\'s, and CMDR\'s need to have good communication skills.
I think half the time SL\'s don\'t realise they can deploy assets, and they dont communicate as well as they should.
I personally have only had a few rounds as pub commander on Militia Fools Road, and had pretty good communication from squads... Unfortunatley we were beyond saving
Basically, the point of this post was... we need good commanders and SL\'s!

Use your imagination and think...In other words, try to predict the enemy movement, it's really not that hard to do it.
Example: If you try to capture enemy CP and the flag becomes gray you can be sure that sooner or later enemy will arrive to recapture it, it's obvious.
Another thing. Before you will give an order to your squad open the map and look what the other squads are doing, if no one stays behind to defend captured CP then it's up to you to do it. Sometimes it's better to stay behind and guard captured CPs then rush forward and loose the round.

RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!!!
Do not post stupid suggestions just because you had a bad round in PR
