there still used in modern combat, i still had to do bayonet training during basic which to this day is still on of the most physicaly and mentally hardest thing i have ever done in my life, and during the last phases of an attack ie thowing the granaide then charging the enemy possition on auto we were always made to fix bayonets, so why cant we fix bayonets in game would make for some very intresting CQB's imo
