Strength of Bomb Truck

Is it intended that the Bomb Truck is so strong?
You need about 700 from 1000 MG rounds or 12 main cannon rounds from the APC to destroy it.
You know how long it does take to fire 700 rounds with overheating, or 12 cannon rounds firing around 1 per second?
Youre probably dead even if youre in an APC and see the Bomb Truck early enough, regardless if you decide to run or shoot.

Maybe the strength is based on the 0.6 faster shooting APC?

If it's intended, i've said nothing.

always aim for the driver, kill him and it wont be heading into your direction anymore.

Fire SABOT rounds from the main IFV cannon, and combine it with simultaneous MG rounds all aimed for the driver. You should then be able to decomission the truck if it's spotted at a reasonable distance away.

I've seen the semi withstand frontal hits from the AT4. I don't think they can do that IRL.

APC or Sch. or w/e, they both take at least 10 seconds to kill a fully health bomb truck from start to finish, if you want advice to survive, aim for the driver (like someone said) if i remember correct the driver seat window is broken, therefore meaning, just shoot him with 1 heat round and for sure he will die (or use gun)

However, 1 AP/Heat from C2 destroys it irrc

Surely, you can try to kill the driver.
But this topic is about the (unrealistic) strengh of the truck.
I doubt a truck can withstand even a short volley of heavy mg fire, and least of all some rounds of 30mm cannon fire.
The strength should be lowered at bit, at least.
700 heavy MG rounds or 12 30mm cannon rounds are way too much.

I think the truck is balanced in relation to the rapid shooting apc from PR 0.6, but not to 0.7.

it is a rather beefy piece of kit...

Is there a way the truck can be made to be disabled when it's hit in the wheels or summin? like a tank being detracked...

Even a SABOT round from a tank can't stop him but it's same with the normal supply truck.

Actually, one SABOT or HEAT round from the British's MBT, the Challenger 2 will fully destroy the bomb truck if it is a direct hit.

i most absolutely disagree, iv shot the bomb truck with the challenger on two seperate occassions and its hit dead on in the front, it made the bomb truck smoke and it took several more seconds of firing the cannon before it was destroyed. On each occasion i shot with armor piercing and then heat.... i was like nooooo fkin wayyyy! Plus, if i ever get a video of how i was in apc and i was shooting at the drivers windshield of the bomb truck of like 7 thousand rounds of heat ammunition... you would think that the driver would turn to dust no? i mean even one round of a heat round to the windshield would surely blind the driver or make him bleed...
