Post by ghost_dog »

Can anyone point me in the right direction who do I talk to about designing the actual soldiers outfit uniforms kits backpacks webbing style etc.
Also any idea if there will be a Australian force setup? any updates.

You want to change the skins of soldiers it seems? That's not modelling, but skinning.

Anyhow, if you want to use Photoshop, make sure to install the Photoshop .dds plugin (Google for it, it's an nvidia plugin for which you don't need to have a nvidia graphics card).

You'll find the .dds files of the soldiers in the soldiers directory inside objects-client.zip file, which is located in PR's objects folder.

As far as I know the Australian Forces aren't being made. There are more threads about it, might want to take a look at it. Search for it using the forum search.

Good luck!

HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth
