counter-attack makes all the difference in the vanilla maps dont it. Actual complex defenses and elaborate attacks goin on, absolutely fuckin beautiful.

I've always loved it! I feel its one of the more unappreciated maps, but I still enjoy it.

 You can get some pretty epic defenses around village, and when the armor comes to town...

A team consisting of one tank, one apc and one AA can own pretty much anything the USMC can throw at you (especially fun when a BH doesn't notice your tank and tries to land on the beach in front of you)

Played this map Saturday night, flew the black hawk for a bit and got real dizzy, it was the first time that has ever happened while playing a game and I tend to fly a lot on this mod if somethings available. Maybe its the cloak?

I've never truely enjoyed Gulf of Oman as MEC because in BF2 it was hard to counter the quick infantry movements on Hotel and Fishing Village. I played Counter-Attack for the first time on Zatar 2 days ago and it was the only time I had to think about tactics when moving my squad around. Communication and Logistics is the most important part of Counter-Attack. If you can't get your ground forces mobilized on the mainland, Its curtains.

I love it! Counter Attack really makes it one of the better maps..

Sabre_Tooth_tigger i quite agree with you. Al-Basrah rocks.

Yeah, it's not a much played map. I would definitely like to see more servers popping up the counter-attack maps, they're a bit ruined by noobs/lamers, but people need time to learn to play them, and the only way that can happen is by playing some crappy rounds until they figure it out.
