Movement Waypoints

Any way a waypoint feature could be implemented on the tactical map?

If I had to choose one thing that was most annoying about being an SL, it would be that you can't have more than one point (defend, attack, move, etc.) on your tactical map at any point. It would be useful to be able to say "Alright squad, we're gonna move to waypoint 1 and set up an RP, then move to attack the flag" instead of having a marker from the commander's orders pop up on your map, and then you're sitting back describing where you want your boys to go.

Don't get me wrong; I don't think this is a huge deal, but I think it would be a useful feature, which would reflect the real life training of soldiers--they generally know how to use maps (and it seems that a lot of the time, my squad's best intentions don't necessarily recreate that map reading skill, nor do my map descriptions).

I agree, it would be really nice being able to have 2 or more "markers" down at a time.

I think this is refreshingly hardcoded, as most movement marker related things are, but don't quote me on it.

I'd love to see it in game. Would mean that you don't have to deal with morons/none-native English speakers who you don't simplify your English enough for, who don't understand what your getting at when you try to go a route other then the quickest one to a certain point... amongst other things.

Already been suggested if I recall correctly. Though it's possible in a way with perm markers like how LZs work but I suggested that already, though for a different reason(enemy units).

Been discussed before, and while it may not be impossible it is apparently quite challenging to implement, given that BF2 gives no support for this kind of feature.

First thing I found when I search AND looked in previous suggestions.

Pretty sure its a b*tch to do/hardcoded. Besides, it was already suggested
