check the size of your paging file and set it 2.5 times the amount of RAM you have.
Like Crackshot said, reducing quality etc will also make the work load less.

Another good thing would be switch the PC off for a wee bit then do the render as soon as it's back on, so tis all clean n empty n cool

Lol thanks for suggestion, i was thinking the same thing about paging file... because theres seperate file as big as 2Gb... My ram aint big enough to store the file while the "Movie" is being created, therefore it has to store on the HD...

But max Pagefile allowed on my XP Machine is 4Gb... I tried 4Gb restarted... no change.

I managed to find a forum, leading me to microsoft support website (Yes i said microsoft support website).

Microsoft say... cut the video down and save individually... (EDIT: THAT TAKES WAYYYY TO ******* LONG)

But everyone must promise they will watch this video, its really funny... I mean REALLY funny, i laughed over and over, when watching FRAPS files.. :D

EDIT: Nope cant get Windows to make anything work properly...

jesus... Could anyone possibly tell me where I could get decent video editing software??? that turns out best results?

Save the FRAPS vid in to a AVI, That will make it 1/3 the size.

So I waited like 20mins to convert to DivX to upload to Stage6 website...

I waited 2hrs to upload onto the stage6 website

And guess what happens Upload failed after 1.6 hours or so.

Will there ever be software tht actually works in this world?

Nope. Does the file play fine on your own computer?

I feel for you, I really do. I have just suffered through a week of similar symptoms in editing my latest in-game video in Windows Movie Maker. After searching online a bit, I found a great page of tips:

PapaJohn - Movie Maker 2 - Problem Solving

In the end, I had to render to DV-AVI (NTSC) and then compress to WMV using TMPGEnc. This gave me a nice manageable ~60Mb file to upload to YouTube and PutFile.

I've seen that suggested before but how do you connect WMV file? I can connect AVIs with VirtuaDubMod, but wouldn't know how to do it with WMVs.
