Hi guys, I was watching this video on youtube
YouTube - Thank God for Body Armor!
And in the movie, there is a us marrine walking infront of a humvee. Then a insurgent shoots a bullet right into his body armor and the guy falls, almost flys, and then quickly gets cover behind the humvee.
On PR, when you get hit in your body armor nothing realy happends... It would be nice if you get at least a blurred out vieuw for a second or 2, just like a granate going off nearby. Or let the player fall down, so its like in the movie, but im not sure if that is possible. Falling would be bether though cause you get the same effect as in the movie, where they think that the guy is severly hit or dead.
Anyway that's my question.. I hope you can do something with it.

This has been covered before. I'll sum it up before Masaq comes in here and goes psycho-crazy on you. People fall over because they are surprised or because they expect to be knocked over. It is not a result of the physical force imparted by the round. If it was, the person firing it would fall over as well. So if you get shot with an elephant gun, this would make sense.

It's all about Newton's Third Law of Motion:
"For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction."
If you still doesn't understand this law I can give you some "MS paint style" explanation

Covered and asked before, and a thread on it is still open I believe... or it was also locked for a resuggest.
You do get a messed up vision when youre shot, right? I always get that flash and short blur, much like the suppression[probably the exact same thing].
let the player hit "prone" when shot... its what I do if Im in a moderately covered location. if im in the open, I book it for some cover... I feel thats realistic enough...
