GPS guided bombs

I was playing on the Allfairgames practices server today and the folks helped me out on learning to use GPS guided bombs. I went according to procedure but I noticed a couple of things. Sometimes I would get a green box under me, sometimes the pilot would say, I've got lock. So, do I release when I see the green box or a little after? What do I do when he says I've got lock, release right away?

always after he says ive got a lock, ive found out a hit is good.

There's essentially a "safety measure" on the bombs, you must be 500m high and yes, it's after he says "I got lock"

Be aware!In the MEC Frogfoot it's gonna say something like blah-blah-blah(sorry can't repeat exactly)

The same applies to the chineese one
