Post by Campez »

Would it be to hard to add some blood on death and wounded soldiers, where they have been hit or what?

In BF2 you can make puffus of blood come out of ppl using the effects that BF2 has but blood on the ground, it might be able to be done the same was as if a shell hits the ground it makes a black mark but im not totaly sure if it can be coded to have blood on the ground like that but it seems possibal :)

I think decals (the name for an image placed over top of another skin, i.e a bullet hole) on players would be pretty neat, and a pretty neat indicator of where you hit your target when you finally advance to where you felled him!

I've already tested this and it doesn't seem to work. I tried numourous decals changing them in the materials editor and it just doesn't show up for some reason, it's awkward, but guess there's a collision mesh that isn't exactly the same as the model.

damn would be great to blast some one's head apart and to see the hole in his head when he is falling.
