just thinking of the future.. :)

Now i love the game already theres not much i can say that would make it better atm and i know you guys said "but please do NOT bother suggesting a complete re-design". Im just thinking would you guys every consider making this mod in the crytek engine like not a major project for the next year or two as for most pc's nodays cant really handle it, but as a side project so when the time comes you can start to make the game just putting this out in the works if it hasn't all ready been said .

Welcome to the Forums!
There have been many suggestions about what engine PR will go to next.Right now the Dev's are concentrating on getting to v1.0 After that then, maybe, they will think about what to do next.
Until then we're stuck with Bf2.

Welcome to the forums. New engines have all be suggested. All of them. Even ones that will never be invented.

i really really hate vague answers. its allways half truths, why cant you guys give examples of what your talking about, instead of yes or no answers.

i know your bored to death of the same questions being answered, but when i run a search...

...its not there.

Well after trying to answer 60 or 80 times you kinda dont care anymore. Besides how can you not find anything when you search? Use it like the Google

I second that jonny. The bigger the engine, the better we can run PR on it!

No new engines. None. 0. Clear enough? The DEVs have said multiple times that there are no plans, and if plans come up I'm sure they'll inform us all.

since Crysis has no squad system, can not hold so much players … no, the devs would consider a change after 1.0 if there would be a better engine than bf2, but for what PR needs, there is no better engine

It's ****.

They're making an ARMA2, and Codemasters are making OFP2.

Its a damn site etter than BF2 and more realistic than PR in gameplay, more game modes, better graphics, quality models, etc etc etc. PLUS BiS have just relased all the in game models to the public.., see EA doing that without restraint? big fat no.
plus Sahrani life is such a blast.

Yes, but at least PR allows me to climb a ladder without being stuck on it forever, and my PR character doesn't randomly shout out things in an awkward, disjointed manner.

I did edit my post but hey ho.., plus you straight say ArmA is **** without reason. IMHO i think its much better than bf2 and PR, ok so PR can only do so much with a crappy engine, but saying something is **** without plausable reason vexes me.

Not happening anytime soon, bud.

The Devs are still very much concentrating on the BF2 engine - it's currently the only engine that provides them with everything they feel they must have in a game engine - Support for 64 players online and a squad system being two pretty key ones.

It took the Forgotten Hope guys almost three years to get Forgotten Hope ported over onto the BF2 engine from BF1942. People seem to forget just how much work goes into mods that just can't be reproduced overnight for another engine.

Locking as it's previously been discussed to death.
