the F/A-18 will not return, unless a aircraftcarrier would be added to the game.
(and NO, the current wasp class ship is no aircraft carrier, even if many people think so)

I am pretty sure that shotguns are against both US and British laws in war, because it is too destructive. Same as the mounted 50cal guns are restricted from being used directly at soldiers.

Actually, technically it is. It carries aircraft... Granted not conventional jets but it carries helos + AV-8Bs. WRT F-18: The USMC flies the F18 from land bases...

WRT SMAW, it used to be in game. The AT4 is same purpose and in wider use.

The F18 has heavy duty landing gear so it can be employed from carriers. They were used in this capacity in Gulf War 1.

Whatever the laws, both the US and britain use shotguns as breaching tools and CQB weapons, and .50 cals are often employed directly against individuals.

Oh, and super re-suggestion on the M1014 here.

Expect to see shotguns in .75.

F/A-18s won't be included unless we get a monster-sized carrier; feel free to model and texture one :D

Both of these statements are untrue and have been discussed at length before. Check for the threads. :)

As have the SMAW and M1014.

Marine Hornets (F/A-18C and F/A-18D, the Marines being the only ones to use the latter in a direct combat role) operate from both land airstrips and aircraft carriers (Nimitz-class and USS Kitty Hawk). Marine Hornet squadrons are often integrated into carrier air wings, and there is usually one on a "float" at any given time.

Locking for resuggestion. :)
