WRT SMAW, it used to be in game. The AT4 is same purpose and in wider use.

The F18 has heavy duty landing gear so it can be employed from carriers. They were used in this capacity in Gulf War 1.The USMC flies the F18 from land bases...
Whatever the laws, both the US and britain use shotguns as breaching tools and CQB weapons, and .50 cals are often employed directly against individuals.I am pretty sure that shotguns are against both US and British laws in war, because it is too destructive. Same as the mounted 50cal guns are restricted from being used directly at soldiers.
Oh, and super re-suggestion on the M1014 here.

Both of these statements are untrue and have been discussed at length before. As have the SMAW and M1014.
Marine Hornets (F/A-18C and F/A-18D, the Marines being the only ones to use the latter in a direct combat role) operate from both land airstrips and aircraft carriers (Nimitz-class and USS Kitty Hawk). Marine Hornet squadrons are often integrated into carrier air wings, and there is usually one on a "float" at any given time.
