Post by Hitperson »

I know this is pretty gorry but is there any way to make corpses stay for a long period of time (same 2 hours) like the blown up tank chassies on glory houndz??

It would be cool if it didn't slow down game performance.

I think its fine the way gloryhounds has it. Longer would be nice, but I'm 99 percent sure it would make fps lower, and more bodies isn't worth 2 fps to me. Maybe in a movie or something, but not actual gameplay.

Yea i remember seeing a minimod that made corpses stay around the entire game, and there was significant performance loss.

The problem I had with that mod is the bodies slowly faded, in an erie ghost-type fashion. I did like the aspect of not always knowing who was dead or not. I could hide in the bodies of my fallen comrads and ambush the enemy.

That's disturbing... :|

Personally, I'de much rather have good performance over tons of dead bodies all over.

Plus there would be a bunch of clones around as there are only seven different character models and your old bodies would still be around so...

Yeah, good point there Happy...So, this could potentially turn a realistic feature into a devastating unrealistic catastrophe.

lol this would be funny becuase i could imagine a new person to PRMM playing as a medic and seeing all those bodies on the floor, he just goes around trying to zap as many people as he can, wondering why its not working :p

But then you'd get a load of medics frantically trying to revive corpses with no hope of sucess.

Body=revivable. No body=nothing to revive. Long corpse stay=confusion.

EDIT: Bugger, beat me to it.
