MiG-21 for Militia
I think a ground attack version of the MiG21 complete with a ghetto rundown and basic airfield should be available for the militia. They are arms dealers after all and the Mig21s are very plentiful. Also a Hind gunship.

It should also be beat up and somewhat rusty and a good long spawn time. Also i emphasize that it should be a ground attack version with rockets, good for clearing the dense forests of british troops. Plus rockets are cheaper than air to air missiles and much more believable.
Oh and before you guys argue about "but militia cant fly". Well, the pilot kit soldiers could be ex russian airforce. Its really not that farfetched.

this has been suggested a million times already, and since the milita has been modelled on the chechen resistance fighters {this has also been debated a million times but the devs have even said the milita are chechens} and chechens have no aircraft, this is not at all realistic.

I think it would be rather unrealistic to have malitia operated aircraft anywhere near modern conventional forces air assests. For example, on fools road or some such, a British light armoured force is advancing on Malitia positions expecting only ground based resistance, not having noticed a camoflauged air strip with a single (ie no respawn) MiG 21 flying ground with a ground attack load out (also possibly delayed spawn, to simulate prepping the aircraft in reaction to an unexpected attack).SuperTimo wrote:umm there is already a milita pilot kit that works but you cant fly anything with it...... yet. mig 21 FTW!!! also make it so ity has no countermesures so i can cruise behind in my 'phoon and he won't wven know whats hit him.
I'd also worry, that with a loadout of dumb bombs and rockets that such an aircraft would be pretty much free of any need for teamwork (unlike the conventional forces, which are restirced by the need to designate targes for laser guided missiles & GPS guided bombs in order for thier aircraft to reach full effectiveness.)
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig!

i dont know i just have a really hard time grasping this as being anything even close to realistic. maybe its just me. but i mean how in the world would a militia get spare parts and maintain a mig21, or be able to hide an entire airstrip. wouldnt a mig just get bombed on the runway by the opposing side?
