MiG-21 for Militia

I think a ground attack version of the MiG21 complete with a ghetto rundown and basic airfield should be available for the militia. They are arms dealers after all and the Mig21s are very plentiful. Also a Hind gunship.

Actually, could be a cool *VERY SITUATIONAL* thing.

It should also be beat up and somewhat rusty and a good long spawn time. Also i emphasize that it should be a ground attack version with rockets, good for clearing the dense forests of british troops. Plus rockets are cheaper than air to air missiles and much more believable.
Oh and before you guys argue about "but militia cant fly". Well, the pilot kit soldiers could be ex russian airforce. Its really not that farfetched.

Given the right map I think some militia aircraft is quite likely. Finding mercenaries who can fly isn't all that challenging, it's just expensive.
But first it needs a fitting map.

maybe a mig17? Im partial to older stuff

I think Mig-17's might be so old you can't find them anymore, and spare parts would be hell. However, either one seems to be possible as a militia fighter. I really like the idea--as long as it's just ground attack stuff, no ATA missiles.

Ya ground attack. And just to make them unique, dont even give them bombs, just dumb unguided rockets.

nah, mig 17s would be too old. besides, the mig-21 is the most prolific fighter in the world today, wouldnt be surprised if a few of them hit the black market

this has been suggested a million times already, and since the milita has been modelled on the chechen resistance fighters {this has also been debated a million times but the devs have even said the milita are chechens} and chechens have no aircraft, this is not at all realistic.

Actually, a Mig29A Fulcrum would be kinda better and nicer
As a Mi-24 Hind would be..

umm there is already a milita pilot kit that works but you cant fly anything with it...... yet. mig 21 FTW!!! also make it so ity has no countermesures so i can cruise behind in my 'phoon and he won't wven know whats hit him.

I think it would be rather unrealistic to have malitia operated aircraft anywhere near modern conventional forces air assests. For example, on fools road or some such, a British light armoured force is advancing on Malitia positions expecting only ground based resistance, not having noticed a camoflauged air strip with a single (ie no respawn) MiG 21 flying ground with a ground attack load out (also possibly delayed spawn, to simulate prepping the aircraft in reaction to an unexpected attack).
I'd also worry, that with a loadout of dumb bombs and rockets that such an aircraft would be pretty much free of any need for teamwork (unlike the conventional forces, which are restirced by the need to designate targes for laser guided missiles & GPS guided bombs in order for thier aircraft to reach full effectiveness.)

I think a Helo would be more realistic. Easier to land in the terrain Militia has been seen in.

I think the MiG is the only thing debatable. You guys cant argue that Militia needs a hind though.

i dont know i just have a really hard time grasping this as being anything even close to realistic. maybe its just me. but i mean how in the world would a militia get spare parts and maintain a mig21, or be able to hide an entire airstrip. wouldnt a mig just get bombed on the runway by the opposing side?
