Well, I don't think there's enough space on most maps for it. Oman perhaps, but I doubt the coast guard would be there during a major USMC beach assualt.UndeadComrade wrote:Um Groups of them Patrol around The Indian Oceans shores
And if ur saying there is no use of Coast guard boats, ya it has nothing to do with PR,then i guess We Shouldnt be fighting china either
And it would be used to replace the little dinghy we use in SOME maps
Even Kevin Costner would balk at that. (Guardian, great film!)
Coast guard aren't about heavy duty fire are they? If faced with a proper threat they would surely call in the navy?
But I FULLY AGREE that naval vessels have been overlooked in BF2, and if you look at the vehicle list for bad company (using it as a basis for BF3) we're getting the same deal again.

The Coast Guard does not have a position in any maps for PR, and even so, why would the marines be launching a combat operation off of a coast guard ship?
The amount of time modeling, skinning, and coding something like that would be vastly disproportionate to the gameplay gain.
This is not realistic, and not enough info was provided by the OP about it's inclusion.
