Insurgent Commander Assets

Hey guys, great mod. Yeah I'm a lurker.

I play on the battlearena all the time and having a commander now can be very helpful at directing forces around. A few comrades and I were talking about possible assests for the insurgents.

-road blocks...burning tires/carts/wrecked cars/bricks/general rubble

& possibly a smaller version for alleyways and side streets. They would have to be built up by insurgents like sand bags.

but since there is no bunker/firebase...maybe too difficult to deploy.

This could really hepl the insurgents control or manage certain parts of the city. No more vehicles racing in.

-someone also suggested a deployable weapons dump. 1 at time cache of weapons. Mosin nagant, rpg, AA , PKM. So that weapons can be located closer to the fighting.

anyways, keep it up and please get the md5 tools mismatch thing fixed.

Give the civis back their shovels, and get their backs into it! :mrgreen:

Did you know shovels can rebuild small bridges back to working order? Tried it as a British rifleman trying to enter Village via Landy. My gunner remained in the .50 cal position while I got out to fix it.

the ideas of road blocks and other insurgent deployable assets have been in the dev forums for some time, we hope to get something to happen in that area but we will see how things go :D

Very good Idea but maybe an SVD instead of mosin god I miss that gun

Indeed. We want more SVDs for the insurgents! Not only is it a better rifle, it's also more widely used than the mosin. But please change the SVD scope to look more like this:
