i have used the search button but im not sure on the correct name for the topic.

I was a link to a website that has this 3D modeling/ animation program .

something like 'GUI GUY' The video shows how crowds react to explosions and how they avoid viechals etc

i forgot to bookmark it and i cant remember where i saw it in the forums ... anyone have any idea?

I don't think it has anything to do with 3D animation. It's focused on AI. Thus displaying the computer's reaction to its environment. So you should adjust your search to artificial intelligence instead of 3d.

For 3D animation, tools like 3Ds max or gmax would be used, to make the actual models. gmax is free btw, so if you ever get into modeling, you can try your hand at it.
