Is the US gonna get teh Javelin instead of the Eryx?
Iv searched the posts and didnt want to go digging for 50 pages, but um after playing a round of "air maps" mod for BF2 and founding out that the engineer had a Javelin which locked on to armor and did the top to down attack, i almost peed my pants. To my knowledge the US doesnt really use the Eryx right? So are the devs thinking of the javelin at all at this point?

This information *is* out there, and yes you *do* need to read through the results of your search instead of going "too much, going to post anyway"
The javelin basically rips through anything and everything on the battlefield. It had to be removed following some testing in the interests of balance.
As for the ERYX, no the USMC and USArmy don't use it... but then they don't use it in-game either
