Brace Your Self Button
How about a universal button that slows down your controls.
This would be like giving every one a gaming mouse.
Eat your heart out razor!

It is serious.
Razor mice have a on the fly sensitivity button.
Ok Scot you are moving your mouse or joystick.
You hit a button and the sensitivity slows down as if you were bracing your self.
I know the game can have different cameras with different mouse speeds.

You mean a dpi change button? Many mouses have a button like that.
Mine has 5 deferent dpi stages from 600 to 2000 dpi.

I have been busted at poor spelling.
Here are the mice in question.

Also Logitech mice have the same sensitivity feature.

The game does not support dpi im afraid.
Just mouse speed in different cameras.
I really didnt notice much of a change when I switched dpi in my old departed razer mouse.

Re: Brace Your Self Button
Dpi has nothing to do with bf2, dpi stands for Dots Per Inch.
In case you didn't know
But what do you exacly mean with mouse speed in different cameras?
You mean when you are in a tank and zoom in the mouse movement is more is sensitive?

I use the logitech MX518, it does indeed have the sensitivity feature. I'm just not sure why you'd want to slow your controls, apart from sniping really.

I mean every vehicle and every infantry get a special camera that slows down to a crawl for long distence shooting.

If your shock paddles had a very tiny heart to hit you would indeed under stand.

Re: Brace Your Self Button
What he means is, if you get into a tank turret or use a sniper rifle/LMG currently, your camera controls are slowed down - you have to move the mouse more to move the screen a set distance.
He wants a key for infantrymen to be able to get the effect at will, so when taking long-range shots you don't get a problem with the mouse leaping around quite so quickly; allowing anyone (DPI-adjustable mouse or not) to slow the speed of their camera movement.

Re: Brace Your Self Button
Logitech G9 have on-the-fly sensitivity buttons too, five settings in 200 dpi steps from 200 to 3200 dpi. Can't live without it anymore
In CS:S I've seen config setting for similar feature ingame (mouse sensitivity factor when scoped), but I don't think that BF2 engine can do the same.
