Grenades
This was brought up in the discussion forum, but has not been suggested before AFAIK
Apparently 0.7 was a frag-fest, so grenades were nerfed in a few ways. First of all, they do the ridiculous flying around in the air when thrown while running or jumping. Their timer was also increased, and the grenade splash damage was apparently all but removed.
I applaud the time change, and while totally silly i understand the throwing change. However, in PR, I have thrown a grenade into a bunker where I knew an enemy soldier was hiding, only to enter and have the guy in a corner alive and well. In enclosed spaces, he should be dead by any means.
To quote global security, "the killing radius of this grenade is 5 meters and the casualty-producing radius is 15 meters, fragmentation can disperse as far away as 230 meters." As of right now, the kill radius for a PR grenade is about 5 meters. however, a man in PR is about 2 meters tall, and thus 5m appears only a few feet in front of you.
Shouldn't the blast radius be enlarged to have a realistic effect? As is, grenades need to land at your feet to be able to kill you, otherwise only minor or no injuries will occur. Shrapnel is deadly. Any other thoughts?

I agree, it should be enlarged- at least to compensate for the inability to generate shrapnel without lagging the server out. Balance later with how many grenades a soldier can carry, its not like he will grenade spam for long with the current ammo bag.

100% agreed, grenades have been nerfed past existence, they have to be upped, or they stand no purpose. If the devs don't want to give it up, lets trade it off with a longer time to reload.
Besides, I have never seen nade spamming in PR to be an issue.

X2
While on mestia today, a dude threw a grenade at me through the window and it landed about 4 meters away and only slightly injured me. it wasnt stuck in a wall and it hadnt glitched or anything. it was within kill range and was sitting on the floor. bu7 m3 sovives!

For once, I'm saying improve the grenade.
And with the glitch people use, it's useful IMO.

Re: Grenades
After testing it in game, a grenade exploding 15m away from you, in the causality zone, has no effect on you whatsoever.
A nade exploding 10m also has no effect.
At around 8m wounds start from the blast.
At the kill zone of 5m, the grenade blast wounds you enough for you to start bleeding.
