Grenades

This was brought up in the discussion forum, but has not been suggested before AFAIK
Apparently 0.7 was a frag-fest, so grenades were nerfed in a few ways. First of all, they do the ridiculous flying around in the air when thrown while running or jumping. Their timer was also increased, and the grenade splash damage was apparently all but removed.
I applaud the time change, and while totally silly i understand the throwing change. However, in PR, I have thrown a grenade into a bunker where I knew an enemy soldier was hiding, only to enter and have the guy in a corner alive and well. In enclosed spaces, he should be dead by any means.
To quote global security, "the killing radius of this grenade is 5 meters and the casualty-producing radius is 15 meters, fragmentation can disperse as far away as 230 meters." As of right now, the kill radius for a PR grenade is about 5 meters. however, a man in PR is about 2 meters tall, and thus 5m appears only a few feet in front of you.
Shouldn't the blast radius be enlarged to have a realistic effect? As is, grenades need to land at your feet to be able to kill you, otherwise only minor or no injuries will occur. Shrapnel is deadly. Any other thoughts?
