Hi guys,
I view myself as a pretty good piolet with choppers, all exept from the littlebird. I see lots of vids about quick flights and landings. I can land the thing but cant get anytspeed up unless i put the blades at near vertical. Can anyone give tips

I would say fly in between the trees, your gonna crash when you try to fly through them'[R-MOD wrote:Mongolian_dude;695135']Yeah, 100% all the way.

no seriously, if you fly low it seems that you have a higher speed. But i think its the best way to fly cause your not exposed to the enemy for too long.
When you start flying make sure your little bird is warmed up completly, it takes about 2 min. Then practice flying low but do it slowly first, try to fly just over the trees and on the street. If your feeling comfortable with that try fly between the trees and practice your routes to certain flags and landing spots.

Re: Littlebird speed
I practice little bird flying in PR_SP or Training mode, always going full throttle (I'm not entirely sure if helicopters have throttles, but you get the picture.
). On Jabal, I try to fly through the pipes and openings in the dam, hovering over water and swan diving, trying to get a good recovery speed.
Pointing the nose at the ground for too long is the start of the road to a smoking wreck, as I've experienced in Muttrah in SP.

Re: Littlebird speed
I practice the hell out of flying the Little Bird and Black Hawk on Muttrah City in PR_SP, fly flat out through the city streets dropping off your completely and utterly stupid troops is nothing but fun, and If you can't happen to land at that point a quick backflip has them jumping out and parachuting in no time at all
The best advice I can give you is practice ^1000. I've spent countless hours in Single Player flying and its helped me more than I could have ever thought. I went from flipping the Chopper on takeoff or not being able to land...at all, but now I can stunt fly, fast evasive fly and swan dive just about anywhere (my version of swan diving is an altitude of 200+ then just holding down 'S' and pointing my nose to the ground). Normally pull up at an altitude of 70ish level out and drop off the troops.

Re: Littlebird speed
unfortunately flying model in prsp is different - I had to replace the original rotorcraft files to make them feel PR-like
