I often see people sitting around an enemy CP firing into the base trying to kill them all of before moving in, it almost never works. what i have seen first hand work almost 90% of the time is, to just charge right onto the flag and let the enemy come to you.
reasoning is that if you chase them in and try to kill them all, they will fall back take alleys and come out at you when you give chase. BUT if you're on the flag and waiting for them they will come for you and you will be ready.
this works almost every time i've done it and it is devastating to their troops when the have enemies inside their perimeter and outside.

Don't forget the smoke. I hate charging across open ground on my own whilst the rest of my forces lay down and exchange rounds and getting cut down over and over because everyones too lazy to throw their smokes for me (whilst the enemy keep spawning at the cp via a bunker/firebase/RP)

I've seen on Kashan 16 3 USMC squads on high ground with firebases/ammo supply firing down on the Bunkers.
And yet MEC captured both Bunkers, then North Village and won because there was no one actually at the flags to capture them. So OP speaks the truth.

This is a problem with the game, not a gameplay feature. Area denial doesn't bring any benefits in PR as you have to capture an area while it is still hot every time. If there was a way that without the presence of defenders in a flag area, the flag would become neutral slowly, that would encourage a more true to life use of fire support suppression and area denial using firepowerBringerof_D wrote:I often see people sitting around an enemy CP firing into the base trying to kill them all of before moving in, it almost never works. what i have seen first hand work almost 90% of the time is, to just charge right onto the flag and let the enemy come to you.

Suppress with automatic rifleman, rest of the squad attacks. Problem solved. I make it very clear to my squad members when it is time to attack. "When I MOVE it means that YOU MOVE".

You miss the point. Clearing a hostile position of infantry from afar etc yields no tactical benefit - see Outlawz post. Clearing an enemy position the right way is punished in PR because the enemy do not lose control of that target until the you sit on the flag pole and can simply bypass the point of attack by moving to the next AAS flag targetDrastiq wrote:Suppress with automatic rifleman, rest of the squad attacks.
