I recently re-installed BF2 after a long forced hiatus after I "upgraded" to Vista. I came back and tried playing BF2 a bit and found it severly lacking. There wasn't much for me there but to grind points like I had before and since most of my IRL friends have moved onto other games I decided to try out some BF2 mods.
I was aware of PR from a long time ago and saw the new patch was released and decided to try and give it a worl. Admittedly I played my first map or two like I would have BF2 to explore the maps and the game a little bit but after that I started to really stay with and work with a squad...and then I got my mic fixed and played with a squad.
It was at this point an time that I realized how great this mod is. It was a completely different experience than BF2. Working with your squad and using strategy made PR feel like an online game of airsoft. Where your kit actually meant you had a role to play, not a different means of killing "n00bs".
On Bi Ming I remember having this amazingly tense squad vs squad grudge match to try and take out each others rally points so they could get the cap points uncontested. After it was over I realized that kind of fight would never have happened in vanilla BF2, on a pub server at any rate.
Not only am I really impressed at how the realism has been implemented but the level of polish in the game is outstanding. The level design, down to the spash screens when we are loading a new map, is off the hook.
In short keep up the good work and thanks for all the effort and talent you've put into this game for us to enjoy.

I agree with you completely, welcome back lol! But in PR there may be lots of boring non-teamwork rounds, but every now and again, one round just makes PR the best mod, heck even game at that moment.
