the car park in the british main (aka airport, ty scott) is a nice static, and afaik the static isn't used in the actual city, and I think it should because its 1) nice 2) isn't a bad place for a cache 3) gives some variation Using it on the island could work, or put it near the constuction site, it could well be an excuse to remove a couple of unenterable buildings

Its not useless in the airport. It is a great vantage point to protect the airfield entrance and provide overwatch for the surrounding area. They aren't talking about doing away with it, just adding an additional one in the city. If I am understanding correctly.

OH OH OH in 0.8 yhey should model an underground car park! 2-3 levels underground with 1 or 2 bombcars inside.

I wouldn't mind seeing the static in some of the urban maps.
If placed slightly elevated it might be considered a vantage point and therefore a valid place for a CP

Once saw a Chally crew set up there and play arty, funny as hell becuase they ran out of ammo and couldn't get out.
Anyway, I support this suggestion time permiting.

It's possible to have statics below ground using the editor, you just have to lower the terrain where the static goes in the editor. That's how pools and construction sites are usually implemented.

Trenches on OGT seems to work fine.

Yeah, that'd be good. A nice place for a firebase if you get your team to defend.
