I'm talking about the lil piggy squeal "ahh" whenever you injure your ankle or anything at all... Is it possible to make it a bit more of a manly grunt so its actually believable that you've been shot/twisted ankle rather than just broken a nail?
Also when injured, The coughing is good but it's not quite "there" in making you really feel injured.
I think youll all agree that the sound players a big part in immersion
Nothing exactly desperate that bothers me muchly but just checking out the latest animations, the door breaching on korengal and that funky lil head tilt with the camera and like I said all the new reload animations and so forth really are changing this game into summin totally unrecognisable and it can be the tiniest lil bit of aesthetics that adds a giant world of immersion
Right now all we have are some computer generated sounding "Yahh" or an "ooft" from BF2, Bear in mind that you dont bleed in Vanilla so these sounds aren't exactly made to be looped over and over and iirc the coughing is taken from the tear gas effect?
Anything the PR devs do is far better than anything Vanilla could produce and right now the Injury sounds yelps and so forth are all a bit cobbled together from scraps to produce the bleeding sound Which just sounds like a 12 year old stubbing his toe all the time
The accompaniment of perhaps some wheezing or summin similar would be groovey for the cough or a way to make it get quieter as time goes on but the sound of Phloem being hacking into the ear everytime you bleed just dosnt feel right for someone whos been shot.
I think you get my point, Just a lil bit more Immersion is what I'm after
