Question Thread

Post by Tofurkeymeister »

There should be a sticky thread designed for one time, one answer questions, so that a new thread doesn't have to be created each time.

In essence, instead of posting a thread which would be answered and then immediately locked (like this one :P ), have a sticky thread designed for such small questions.

This brings me to a question I wanted to ask without opening up an entire new thread: What kind of file is exported from 3DSMax to BF2? (File extension, please)

There is a very powerfull function in vBulletin. The function is called "Search". Try it and you'll be amazed how well it works :D

Yeah, I know. This thread will be locked soon and all that. The only problem is that those looking for quick answers won't find any without THEIR thread getting locked.

In addition, I could never get a hang of the search function... and many questions are VERY SPECIFIC (like mine). I don't blame you for complaining, though.

I'm not complaining. I'm just trying to help you to find your answer. Did you even try to use the search function?

Yeah. But it is a VERY specific question. That is why I didn't want to post an entire thread on it. Thanks for the help though. :D

I must have missed something. You have a very specific question but don't want to post it? Somehow it doesn't make any sense to me. :D

Just ask if you can't find an answer by using the search function. Don't be afraid we won't bite you! ;)

a topic for quick questions is not bad at all IMO
[R-DEV]OkitaMakoto:"Cheers, you're the man, Okita"
[R-DEV]Rhino:"I in fact got kicked from a server for tking."
Hitperson:"well done, treasure it forever."
[R-DEV]Adriaan:"Damned classy Roma, if I may say so."
[R-DEV]Chuc:"Pro man, pro."
(yes, it was about me)
[R-MOD]BloodBane611:"Romagnolo, you definitely deserve a LOL award for that."

I find myself agreeing. I know I often have a quick question, and most times i have to Xfire someone... or ask in the Spam thread, but thats dangerous... :P

Dont know if its really worth it though, might as well make a new thread and get multiple answers out of it in the same topic. instead of simply asking a question and being done with the new thread, try and ask more things, get input on what youre working on, etc. idk

Meh
