A few questions (And small suggestions)

Post by pwn3ge106 »

With the medic class for .8, it only takes one resistation to help someone? I think that number should be upped to 2 or 3 for the sake of realism, and the epipen doesn't have the ability to revive, is it supposed to be adrenaline to get them up? Thanks!

He means that instead of popping in one shot of that injection, you need 2 or 3. Or hitting them on the chest 2 or 3 times.

the thumping on their chest is only there to unglitch them from te terrain, like using a field dressing in .7

and the epipen is an adrenaline shot to get them up, as there not dead only critically wounded!

So, if it's used to unglitch someone you can skip that part

Epinephrine is used as a drug to treat cardiac arrest and other cardiac dysrhythmias resulting in diminished or absent cardiac output; its action is to increase peripheral resistance via α1-adrenoceptor vasoconstriction, so that blood is shunted to the body's core, and the β1-adrenoceptor response which is increased cardiac rate and output (the speed and pronouncement of heart beats). This beneficial action comes with a significant negative consequence—increased cardiac irritability—which may lead to additional complications immediately following an otherwise successful resuscitation. Alternatives to this treatment include vasopressin, a powerful antidiuretic which also increases peripheral vascular resistance leading to blood shunting via vasoconstriction, but without the attendant increase in myocardial irritability.[5]

Because of its suppressive effect on the immune system, epinephrine is used to treat anaphylaxis and sepsis. Allergy patients undergoing immunotherapy may receive an epinephrine rinse before the allergen extract is administered, thus reducing the immune response to the administered allergen. It is also used as a bronchodilator for asthma if specific beta2-adrenergic receptor agonists are unavailable or ineffective. Adverse reactions to epinephrine include palpitations, tachycardia, anxiety, headache, tremor, hypertension, and acute pulmonary edema.[6]

Because of various expression of α1 or β2-receptors, depending on the patient, administration of epinephrine may raise or lower blood pressure, depending whether or not the net increase or decrease in peripheral resistance can balance the positive inotropic and chronotropic effects of epinephrine on the heart, effects which respectively increase the contractility and rate of the heart.

I think we need something to raise the dead also, at least for insurgents or miltia could employ some sort of zombie voodoo mixture. Good idea I reckon
