Officer Kit Waiting Time

I have always found it a annoying when you take over squad leader/commander and pr tells you that you are new to the squad and to wait a few minutes before you can request an officer kit. I often see squads leaders forced to hang around at the main base for a while before they can leave with an officer kit. This seems easy enough to fix, could it be implemented before 0.8?

I find this to be a bother as well. The most important asset of the squad is behind.

However, what you guys are saying shouldn't happen, unless you left the squad after the original squadleader left, or just joined. However, if you just joined, there is a small time in PR that doesn't show this message to give leeway to players that just joined the fight.

This should go for Crewman kits as well.

+ For Commander.

If you are alive without of Ofcr kit when you take Command, you have to wait a few mins before you can actually do anything. If you're dead it's no problem as you can just spawn as officer, but it's annoying when you spawn then accept the position and have to wait.

I think those 2 criteria would cover it wouldn't they? Would be a horrible exploit though, officer kit just a hardened rifleman from a stuff based point of view. I'd hate to come across a squad full of them.

The cmdr issue is fixed for the next release, but the other 2 min blocks are there to avoid exploits. It's hardly a long wait.
