Question regarding FH2, PR, and Shaders

Post by 3===SPECTER===3 »

Ok so after recently reinstalling everything regarding PR FH2 BF Punkbuster, etc i finally fixed my shader kick problem. I would love to avoid this problem again being that i dont want to go through all of that again. Anyway, i wanted to install FH2 again but im afraid since it also uses custon shaders that ill be back at square 1 geting kicked all over again. So my question is, will FH2 most likely cause this problem again. Or am i safe to go ahead download and install it.

Thanks in advance

Afaik, the shaders won't be a problem if you quit both mods properly.

E.g. If you should Crash To Desktop while playing PR, launch and quit the mod orderly, before launching FH2.

The best course of action is to use a different account for every Mod you play, so each one only ever loads the shaders for a specific mod.

That, combined with making sure you use the QUIT option on the main menu rather than hitting CTRL+ALT+DEL /End Task or ALT+F4, should stop mods from corrupting each other.
