Sitting in Tank -> Crash

Hey,

a friend and I were driving around in a tank on the battle for qinling (chinese side). Suddenly both of us get crashed back to desktop.
There is no error message whatsoever.

The connection is probably that both of us were sitting in the same tank. Who knows

What server were you on? Or were you playing LAN? A little more info would be really helpful!!

hey,

sorry. we were playing on the 10th German Community server on the internet.

I have a q6600 with a radeon x1950xt and 2gb of ram, my friend has a c2d 8400 with a gf 8800 gtx and 3gb of usable ram.

He's using vista ultimate (32bit) and I'm using xp pro sp3.
Latest upgrades and patches installed (!)

The tank I'm talking about is the chinese combat tank (not apc).

Probably a server side crash. Has it happened again?

Could it be that everyone was kicked? Thats happens sometimes.

I experience the same thing, in an Abrams I think, server crashed about 2-3 mins after I CTD in the tank.

hey, if the server had crashed we would have lost the connection. Instead, both of us crashed right back to desktop with no error message.

It hasn't happened before...we're both a little noobie @ PR

sometimes happens on server, randomly half the people get dropped to desktop happens everynow and then dont have a clue what happening though
