This also adds to the problem that, once you've used a civi car and have jumped out, you've just alerted the enemy to your position.Ghost1800 wrote:It just seems odd to me how one can just pull up a map and say "Ok squad, some local left his keys in the car 2 blocks west and down the street south, Lets move!"

Re: Civilian vehicles
I wouldn't mind taking the civi cars off the minimaps, that would also be extremely easy to do (just modify the minimap image).
I don't support loosing the minimap when you're in the civilian car though. Having a map is important for game play.
Finally, I'm pretty sure the mapper just messed up a bit and you're not supposed to be able to drive that civilian car on Muttrah. That's a property the mapper sets when he is making the map so they probably just messed up a bit because unless PR is becoming PR: SF, coalition shouldn't be able to use civilian cars.

Re: Civilian vehicles
It's not normal to be taking civilian vehicles, especially since Coalition forces are trying to let Iraq become a functional nation so that they can leave. That's the goal and taking civilian vehicles just makes the civilians not like Coalition forces, which is something Coalition forces are trying to avoid.

I don't think Rhino messed up when he put those cars on the map. It is a civilian city so why wouldn't there be civilian cars?EOD_Security-2252 wrote:Finally, I'm pretty sure the mapper just messed up a bit and you're not supposed to be able to drive that civilian car on Muttrah. I agree that the cars shouldn't show up on the mini map it just shows where you are when you get out.

Re: Civilian vehicles
There would be civilian cars, but the use of civilian cars has been discussed in the forums before and the Devs seemed to be against it.
