Welcome to the forums

Gazz pretty much gave you all you need

Yes you can play SP but NOT out of the box. Youll need to download the SP packs and map packs. Normally these come out a month or so after the versions release[so when say.. .9 is released you might have to wait a month or so before you can play it in singleplayer]

Other than that, the SP PR team has done wonders with the AI and gotten them to use a lot f the new features.

Welcome to the forums, and good luck!

Unknown AMT for the exact time. But I'm sure the SP guys are working their asses off to get it into its final stages.

I'm waiting for it too...great practice for flying when you have the bots turned on max uberness
Mad-Mike - Good photo's but why do u have 2 threads that are the same?
[R-CON]ReadMenace - Are you referring to the obvious double-post or the less obvious, high-resolution military photographs thread?

I wouldn't try SP just yet - it's as stable as a uranium and lead cocktail at the moment.

Technically it's possible, but you have to download an array of files, sling them all over the place, make the appropriate sacrifices and pray the appropriate prayer.

Even then, success is not guaranteed, with Crash To Desktop's abound.

What I've done is create a Google Alert for "Project Reality"+"Single Player", that way when the awesome folk here finish up you'll be the first to know! :)

PS: Keep up the good work folks! :) I don't know how on earth you've made so many changes to a closed source platform... sheer brilliance.

Your first post and you've slagged the SP off! Have you actually downloaded and played it?

The installers on the BETA couldn't be easier and the final release will contain all the needed files, remember it is a BETA.

"Your first post and you've slagged the SP off!"

No way! I should have made clear that it rocks - just if we've got a newbie trying to install it we shouldn't let him get muddled and leave with a tainted opinion of the final goods.

Too many people don't understand when a BETA shows issues it doesn't say squat about the final product.

(I'm a QR release manager for an ICT firm - I deal with "yes, yes, being able to compute 10,000,000,000 prime numbers in a single nanosecond and read minds and cure hunger worldwide is very nice, but I don't like the colours" all freaking day. So I should have thought my post through better!)
