AGM-130 for Tornado

Post by TF6049 »

YouTube - Low Blow radar strike w/AGM-130

Is it possible top have something similar for the 2-man-jets in PR? 8)

That's allot like the TV Guided missile in the vBF2 attack heli's so it is most likely possible.

I think it would be awesome as it would allow the GR4 to be used well without anyone lasing, but it might be used to whore infantry.

I think thats an awesome idea but i can see that ending up like vBF2 but i think that could be good if the clicking to move technique is changed tbh...

As it should be. :)

All I can say to that is, where is your aa support? ;)

Let's just take jets out of the game. They'll never be anywhere near realistic using the BF2 engine and nobody is willing to give them their full capabilities.

To be honest you are right, but take the air out of PR and I end up not really playing. I think they can be done right, I mean there is already infantry map layer, why not realistic vehicle layer?

Alex - your local vehicle ho :p

But taking jets out the game is just boring, they add so much, and to be honest, when I'm playing Kashan, and hear the A-10 come in for a strafe with it's canon, I thank god for making PR :p

If the jet's go then I go :p

But yeah, seems like a good idea...
I don't think they use TV-guided missiles too much anymore though, they are supposed to be "unreliable"

yep :p

Personally I think the Current Air to Ground missiles we have are much better, where the Tornado and Su-30mmk btw are not 100% symmetrical, they do have some quite big differences between them if you really look :p

Why? What he's suggesting the UK doesn't use. Unless we've been loaning out ordnance to the RAF, only the USAF uses the AGM-130; they were designed for the F-15Es. I don't think the Navy and Marines even use it. The RAF have their own standoff ground attack weapons that are very good. :)

Sorry, but not going to happen anytime soon; we've got other guided bombs to play with, though. :)

Everybody has TV guided missiles. Some work like the choppers are in VBF2 and others not so much.

On a random thought, I don't suppose it's possible to code pickup kits for vehicles is it?

Mavericks don't use that system anymore. The only time you really see the camera view for a maverick is when it's sitting on the rail, acquiring targets.

Its not a maverick, its a AGM-130, A powered version of the GLU-109, which is a kit for a Mk. 84
