Light Machine Guns with scope?

Could this be possible? Just a suggestion that would make people use the support gun more, and when they have ít they dont die so easy.

I think the concept needs refining. Im not in favour of making any weapon UBER. but i am in favour of helping a weapon be more effective at it's job and bring it as close to realism as possible.

First i think you must imagine in your head the recoil of a scoped Minime whilst firing. It may look similar to the L96A1 recoil. so firing in short bursts would be NESSESARY, therefor taking away from its ability to become UBER, and giving it a realistic gameplay limitation without taking away from it's game-play-ability.

I seriously think there would be an appropriate balance. i for one am in favour of this, it reflects realism, and needs to be talked about. i cant see the chinese, insurgents or other factions getting the same treatment,(not that i think they shouldnt get the same treatment, but for realism's sake...) but i think the british and US should at least have it so that it shows that the mod is up to date with modern technology, and people dont have to squint down the sights any more. remember the BF2 engine is crappola at resolution so giving a weapon such as the Minime a dynamic that helps it do it's job wouldnt do any harm to the mod.

I gotta stress this, scoped Auto rifles wouldnt nerf tactical squad movement. And is one of the the limited kits that SHOULD emphisise sitting and watching an area.

Actually used search function but couldnt find anything. Yeah ive seen some examples of scoped LMGs so I just figured that maybe it could be added to the game. Its easy for people with scope aiming and shoot at a LMG guy and take him out, something you wouldnt dare doing in real life.

This is/has been considered by the developers. If they decide to add it, it will come in game if feasible. If not, I am afraid that asking for it isn't going to help much.
