Chinese Techno?
Went to play some PR when I got home from school and couldn't stop laughing at the music they played while loading one of the chinese multiplayer maps.
If you guys know what I'm talking about, can you tell me the name of the song?
(sounds like someone is yelling "body" eight hundred times lol)

Believe you were loading Bi Ming, and the song can be found on the Unofficial Soundtrack neatly prepared by Deadfast

Re: Chinese Techno?
Bi Ming's funky music is one of the best features of PR. If first appeared in the good old days of the 0.6 beta, when there were night maps and mortar kits that didn't work.
But when 0.6 was released the music was gone! Replaced with the standard Chinese theme! An outrage, I said.
And so, with 0.7 and onward the music is back. And long may it remain!

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig!

Re: Chinese Techno?
Think the genre is more specifically called Drum&Bass not Techno.
Its mainly a UK thing but it does have a US following in some of the major cities you would expect. ie San Francisco and New York. It kind of was born as an offshoot of the old 'rave' scene from the 90's. Seems to be a lot more 'grown up' following. Love the beats tho and how they roll. I don't follow the scene as much anymore but I grew up on this stuff.
Drum & Bass Arena is a good website to listen to streams and tracks of different Drum&Bass DJ's

Bi Ming has the very best loading music in PR history. And bob you forgot to tell how all gameplay stopped when a motor kit came out, everyone wanted a picture and take a nice close look..........great times.

It is drum and bass no question. It's got amen written all over it. Like most forms of music d'n'b comes in many different flavours, this song being just one example of a certain style.Noobofthenight wrote:Drum and bass? Lol, you what?
